No, not too cold, although it might be rainy. Personally, I think October is perfect. not too hot and not too crowded. Summertime is toursit season and roads and cities are full and prices are higher. Try to go before the days start getting too short, though! Have fun!

Hey,,,, i travel thru there all the time on my worldly travels… October,,, isnt too bad,,,, November will be cold…..but not as bad as later on……

Amsterdam will be bitterly cold in November (but not unbearably so). Barcelona won’t be cold.

I’ve been to Amsterdam in December, and it wasn’t cold at all

In Barcelona it should be still OK, about 15C.
You won’t be able to swim outside, but the rest you will enjoy!!!
