I would go to Greece if I were you because it is so beautiful and I love Greek food. Plus its a new adventure, if you will, and i’ve never been there before so it would be awesome to explore it with all the sites and villages.
Athens!!! So much more history there! Barcelona is good if you want to go clubbing. But Greece is the place if your into history…i.e. the original Olympics!!!!
As much as I like Spain, I would have to recommend Greece if it is your first time to Europe.
Mainly because in Spain it is hard to do stuff sometimes because of the Seista times and pretty much things shut down so you have to plan your activities around that time, dinner is usually served late 9-11PM ish. Like the other person said, clubbing is great in Barcelona, if you like that stuff.
I’ve not been to Barcelona in ages so things may have changed (the siesta shut-down).

AYE AYE AYE go to Barrrrrcolona. Beautiful Spanish culture. Safe place, a lot to do there, and is really pretty.
