Legal marijuana, marijuana cafes, the best and lots of variety of marijuana, cannibus soup, oh yeah and the marijuana.

The Anne Frank house is there. There are plenty of museums. And walking along the canals is pretty neat (although this can be done basically anywhere in the Netherlands). And if you go outside Amsterdam a bit then you can see the tulip fields and windmills.

This site has a lot of information about the Netherlands, with links to about all they mention.
You can find pages about shopping, museums, sights, entertainment and much more, as well as maps and practical information.
While Amsterdam is good, it is not so special that it overshadows other cities.
Almost every thing you can do in Amsterdam you can do in most other cities in the world.
Only in Amsterdam it seems to be legal. Which is not the case, by the way, it is just tolerated and mostly tourists seem to make use of the ‘liberties’.
(The Dutch go to their ‘local’ coffee shop.)
