about an hour or so, from Gatwick Airport Rail Station
Take the First Capital Connect toLondon Bridge and then from London Bridge get the Underground Jubilee line to Canning Town station and change to DLR for one stop to London City Airport

Train from Gatwick to Victoria station - then tube out to city.

I would allow an hour and a half to get there. Cheaper fare with southern rail instead of gatwick express then just a single tube ticket. Less than 20 quid in total.

Gatwick Express. Non stop train from Gatwick to London Victoria Station. Train leaves every 15 minutes and duration of journey is 30 minutes. Express class single: 15.60 GBP Exoress class return 26.80 GBP. First class single: 23.50 GBP - First class return 44.00 GBP

The nearest tube station to the O2 Arena is North Greenwich on the Jubilee Line

I just returned from London. Travelling in London is so easy and you should not have any problem with it. When you arrive at Gatwick buy a train ticket to London Waterloo, but do not get the express as it is more expensive than the regular train and the service is just as good with only one stop. The tube system is so good with great signs and lots of people on hand to ask is you need to. Good luck and enjoy the concert!
