During the 2010 Winter Olympics, Whistler will host most of the alpine and sledding events.

Its pedestrian village has won numerous design awards and Whistler has been voted among the top destinations in North America by major ski magazines for the past 15 years. You can imagine staying in one of the Whistler accommodation vacation rentals which is in the middle of snow, where you can just ski-in and ski-out from your rental, that is you can just step out of your door and there it is … snow everywhere.

There are so many choices of Whistler lodging, from simple 1 bedroom unit to 10 bedroom properties, located in the village, benchlands, to woods area. One that impresses me because it’s not too big for small family but has beautiful view is this lodging called Taluswood # 27. It is a beautifully built and furnished property, in the middle of the woods, where you can just ski-in and short walk to ski-out. This property has 3 bedrooms, and can accommodate 7 persons. This unique property has a private hot tub nestled in the woods adjacent to a private ski-in run which brings you back literally to your doorstep. You can step out of your skis and into your hot tub if you so desire. The ski-out is to the Creekside gondola and needs a short walk up the hill to access the trail.
