What is the safest and cheapest way of taking spending money on such a vacation? Are the two credit cards sufficient, or do we need traveller’s checques or cash?

Does anyone know of any good websites that have all inclusive ones for fairly cheap too? Thanks in advance.

(I also would accept if anyone can tell me how to stay in Europe for cheap then. i.e. I can get a flight for probably $1000 and then to be able to stay there maybe a week or so for cheap. Like some alternative to the expensive hotel…)
