What’s the cheapest tour company for booking a vacation to Europe?
europe vacation
Erin asked:

I’m looking for a relatively inexpensive vacation package for this summer to Europe. I want something that includes airfare as well. I’m not sure exactly where I want to go, but I’m considering the UK, Ireland, France, and Italy (not all of them together, I know that would get really expensive). I know Contiki is pretty cheap, but I’ve heard bad things about them through friends. What are some of the cheapest companies to go through?

Cheap wud be ( doing-it-ureself ) spend some time googlin & comparin flight tickets. Then google up the country’s attractions ,and places that u wanna see the most. Some countries offer daily walking tours if u wanna see a lil of everything in a go or have not enuf time.If u want to country hop,u can always check for budget flights & rails. But if ure on a short vacation , best u pick a the country that u’ve always want to see/explore then pick the neighbourin countries to save time.If u pick lets say,Denmark, then u can always head to either Sweden,Germany etc..it all depends on u.But if u havent been to Europe before,u might wanna check out Prague,Czech Republic.Lovely city & amazing sights.Good currency exchange too as they are not using euro’s yet.Prague offers daily walkin tours, night trails & lots more.U can check the site below.Hope u find something!Good Luck & Cheers! :)

Contiki well like anything you do get what you pay for unfortunately with anything in life. So if you are looking for the least expensive, then that doesn’t leave you with well options for finding say one that is more reputable for providing you with a great tour/holiday.

The only other suggestion I would say for a company would be Cosmos. Part of Globus/Cosmos. The Cosmos side of it is the lower priced hotels with the package to lower the cost.

I would highly suggest going through a professional agent who can answer all your questions and needs. Find yourself a good agent and they can be a real asset. Many will charge a nominal fee. Please though, don’t contact an agent to “pick there brain” if you will only to try and book on your own to avoid that nominal fee. If you call someone and you just don’t like them as an agent/person, etc. then that is different of course. I sometimes think though there are ones that say agents are obsolete, but yet we constantly still get calls from people who book online and have questions/concerns/needing help/etc.

The service fee’s are worth it for a knowledgeable agent’s expertise and guidance through your entire trip experience.

Best of Luck to you and make sure that your passport is good for 6 months beyond your return travel date.

The ultimate cheap way to Europe is doing it yourself.

I recommend that you get an idea what flights will cost you from your place to Europe (London, Paris, Rome and Frankfurt). Then add to this 60 USD per day and person. Calculate the total cost of a do-it-yourself trip this way and compare to the vaction package deals.
